With a cache size of 5, the right number of records (ca. 600) was displayed, but only 5 records were loaded. when I tried to scroll through all records, no new records were fetched from the database after the first 5 records, but these 5 records were repeated over and over again. do I need to set the cache size larger than the possible number of records in the data source? this seems wrong to me. that and ask if you know if a class or function exists to strip html in php or will i have to whip out the regex incantation quick guide mdean: on the file upload security thing basically had to verify if file was coming from http upload or if file name was being 'spoofed' FYI: Forms (CVS HEAD) now uses fk_source, fk_key, and fk_description instead of foreign_key and foreign_key_description in the tags i fixed everywhere except workorder csv uploads as it appeared to be being 'spoofed' even when not 'spoofing' dcl supports csv bulk uploads ? which for the life of me i cant understand dneighbo: use htmlspecialchars for escaping html hi dneighbo: I thought the is_upload_file (or whatever) was available in 3.x? mdean: ok here is the scoop is_upload_file is available in like 3.0.17 or something (a rather new version) i figured if the other method was just as valid, but would work on ANY version we were better off using that ja, but anything older than 3.0.18 has some security holes, IIRC ah i can switch the is_upload_file if you like I could swear that was a 4.x function, tho - I need to 2x check that i just was a little nervous and the other fix worked i.e. it prevented me from spoofing file uploads (PHP 3>= 3.0.17, PHP 4 >= 4.0.3) as stated there will be no offense if we move to is_file_upload well, perhaps in this spot just use the is_uploaded_file function and see if it allows csv uploads good point http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.is-uploaded-file.php it will take me probably 30 minutes to remember how to set my test environment up it was kind of fun exploiting us :) you gonna be around for a minute or two heh if so i will try real quick before i have to run ja - I'm working on laptop and just fired up IRC on the desktop for the first time in a while btw, we might (hopefully) be getting a nice graphical template set for DCL from a guy I used to work with yummy assuming he doesn't get a paying gig anytime soon ;-) what's this CSV upload thingy? template looks ok i get same thing on the gnue websites dcl $ifile = fopen($GLOBALS['userfile'], 'r'); is big_file.txt and it should not be it should be /tmp/somedumstring weird that should be user_filename, I think and i looked over and over and over and over again and im seeing how its any different than the other uploads yes user_filename shoudl be big_file.txt can you do print_r($GLOBALS['HTTP_POST_VARS']); exit; near the beginning of docsvupload yeah Array ( [menuAction] => boWorkorders.docsvupload [MAX_FILE_SIZE] => 1048576 [userfile] => big_list.txt ) name="userfile"> this might be the problem http://www.php.net/manual/en/features.file-upload.php sigh that doesnt appear to help it says that code should work, tho i know what is sick is its identical best i can tell to the other uploads which is why im tearing my hair out i have to run, if you find anything out while im gone let me know hey I just wrote a PHP upload script the other day I'm sorry dneighbo: fix checked in - form said mulipart instead of multipart and fixed a couple minor things in boWorkorders rdean (rdean@chcgil2-ar2-4-64-030-076.chcgil2.dsl-verizon.net) joined #gnuenterprise. mdean (~mdean@mkc-65-26-67-169.kc.rr.com) left irc: Read error: 104 (Connection reset by peer) rdean (rdean@chcgil2-ar2-4-64-030-076.chcgil2.dsl-verizon.net) left irc: "Client Exiting" schiest was the fix applied to head or branch guess i will find out :) what happened to the KC this week?
