switching to the popy driver fixed my problems however I've not run gnue-sb this was on internal apps hmm... I was actually going to borrow the table layout for a custom app. the issue I saw was the databse would store time with what I assume was microseconds 25-APRIL-2003 12:00:00.12345 and when using psycopg i'd pull from the db 25-APRIL-2003 12:00:00 ERROR: Type "datetime" does not exist gnue-sb is using datatime? looks like it. i'm 99% sure postgresql pulled datetime in the 7.3 release i know it burned people but it was a depreciated feature what'd they replace it with? Or rather, was are we supposed to use instead? "To ensure an upgrade path from versions of PostgreSQL earlier than 7.0, we recognize datetime (equivalent to timestamp) and timespan (equivalent to interval). These types are now restricted to having an implicit translation to timestamp and interval, and support for these will be removed in the next release of PostgreSQL (likely named 7.3)." -- http://www.postgresql.org/idocs/index.php?datatype-datetime.html i pulled that from google heh, I had just gotten to the page in the manual on postgres's site. :) I'll do a search and replace with timestamp in the SQL file. ;) sigh, i have to go to work and abuse a machine that decided to quit allowing logins nite everyone have fun jamest (~jamest@adsl-65-71-169-178.dsl.tpkaks.swbell.net) left #gnuenterprise ("Client exiting"). frayed (~dfancella@12-230-185-238.client.attbi.com) left #gnuenterprise. jamest (~jamest@hilbert.math.ksu.edu) joined #gnuenterprise. i can go home again yppie nite jamest (~jamest@hilbert.math.ksu.edu) left irc: "[x]chat" jbailey (~jbailey@CPE0060082df811-CM014260028338.cpe.net.cable.rogers.com) left irc: "poof" btami (~tamas@ip102-205.ktv.tiszanet.hu) joined #gnuenterprise. fil_c (~ukpgc@public1-cosh3-3-cust111.cosh.broadband.ntl.com) left irc: Remote closed the connection btami (~tamas@ip102-205.ktv.tiszanet.hu) left irc: Nick change: steveb -> stevebZ arashb (~ab@217.66.192.182) joined #gnuenterprise. arashb (~ab@217.66.192.182) left irc: "using sirc version 2.211+KSIRC/1.2.4" wtg (~merlinx@ppp572.qld.padsl.internode.on.net) left irc: "You ain't got debian you ain't got shit!" wtg (~merlinx@ppp662.qld.padsl.internode.on.net) joined #gnuenterprise.
