re the i18n thing im too dumb on unicode to know what it means i dont like the proposal on the email list to 'translations' i do not think the form should hold the 'translation' i liked idea of attribute lang= that could be at form level, block level, field level that told what the language was and then you have a separate file to do all translations Action: derek just doesnt like idea of translators having to 'touch' forms files then you could set gnue.conf setting to be 'default' for forms that overrides a form setting etc some of this also stems from i dont want to wade through 45 translations per form file to look at the form definition :) chillywilly (~danielb@CPE-24-167-199-51.wi.rr.com) joined #gnuenterprise. reinhard (~reinhard@M1259P028.adsl.highway.telekom.at) joined #gnuenterprise. reinhard (~reinhard@M1259P028.adsl.highway.telekom.at) left irc: Client Quit reinhard (~reinhard@M1259P028.adsl.highway.telekom.at) joined #gnuenterprise. yo btami (~tamas@ip102-205.ktv.tiszanet.hu) joined #gnuenterprise. morning fixe (~fixe@dsl017-020-123.chi1.dsl.speakeasy.net) joined #gnuenterprise. fixe (~fixe@dsl017-020-123.chi1.dsl.speakeasy.net) left irc: Read error: 104 (Connection reset by peer) johannesX (~johannes@M1258P026.adsl.highway.telekom.at) joined #gnuenterprise. johannes_ (~johannes@M1258P026.adsl.highway.telekom.at) left #gnuenterprise ("Client Exiting"). chillywilly (~danielb@CPE-24-167-199-51.wi.rr.com) left irc: "Free Your Enterprise! - http://www.gnuenterprise.org" chillywilly (~danielb@CPE-24-167-199-51.wi.rr.com) joined #gnuenterprise. I should investigate that at that low of a dpi, you probably want to match the fax's resolution as closely as possible as there's not much room for scaling err, that didn't come out right but you get the idea :) hmm -m Transmit the facsimile at a vertical resolution of 196 lines/inch; otherwise known as medium resolution or fine mode. I wonder what the conversion for lpi to dpi is.. =) in press production, we would multiply the lines/inch to get the ideal dpi to scan our images at but that's for press production for faxes I'd just use a 1:1 and see how that works s/multiply the lines/multiply by "2" the lines/ hmm.. y'know.. when I put xsane into 'fax' mode.. I no longer get to tweak the resolution.. have you had it in fax mode all along, or are you just now trying it? are you using hylafax? using hylafax yip.. I was just using view or save mode and saving to ps as I prefer to fax from the cli I think maybe it uses 204dpi, since if I'm in view or save mode and set the res to whatever, say 300.. then pop into fax mode, when I go back to another mode the res is set to 204 jcater (~jason@w202.z065105010.mem-tn.dsl.cnc.net) left irc: Remote closed the connection jcater (~jason@w202.z065105010.mem-tn.dsl.cnc.net) joined #gnuenterprise. lekma (~lekma@opixido.net1.nerim.net) joined #gnuenterprise. lekma (~lekma@opixido.net1.nerim.net) left #gnuenterprise ("Client exiting"). jamest (~jamest@gw.math.ksu.edu) left #gnuenterprise ("Client exiting"). chillywilly (~danielb@CPE-24-167-199-51.wi.rr.com) left irc: "Free Your Enterprise! - http://www.gnuenterprise.org" evarlast (jrwren@dync234.aca.oakland.edu) joined #gnuenterprise. chillywilly (~danielb@CPE-65-31-171-97.wi.rr.com) joined #gnuenterprise. chilly! jason! sup? word reinhard_ (~reinhard@M1259P028.adsl.highway.telekom.at) joined #gnuenterprise. jbailey (~jbailey@atlas.fundserv.com) joined #gnuenterprise. reinhard (~reinhard@M1259P028.adsl.highway.telekom.at) left irc: Read error: 111 (Connection refused) Nick change: reinhard_ -> reinhard dsmith (x5txjzps9f@oh-strongsvillecadent1-1d-165.clvhoh.adelphia.net) joined #gnuenterprise.
