That's how I got involved with these cretins. i'm fsf europe volunteer Ah lovely. I've always been surprised that the FSFe folks didn't want to tie into the GNU systems better. Loic was interested, the rest didn't seem to be. It means that the systems typically thought of as 'gnu' are all FSF systems, which is sad. hm what do you mean with "GNU systems" ? Well, fencepost is considered the GNU shell server. monty-python is considered the GNU mail server. subversions is the GNU cvs server. ah gnudist/gnuftp the GNU web server and ftp server. They're all tied together with Kerberos. They'll all be in the same ldap user config one day. But it's onyl FSF servers in that mix. I think that the FSFe and FSF india servers should all be participating in that. i see personally i prefer a more local structure The problem with local structures are that it's very hard to break the GNU==FSF mentality. And I think that's harming GNU alot right now. regional FSFs should integrate, but not build an admin cathedral sure? But in an admin cathedral, resources are shared and pooled. Like a new FSF regional group could start up and know that they have access to shared 'GNU'ish resources. kreiszner (kreiszner@ppp002.alx.la.xspedius.net) left irc: Read error: 113 (No route to host) kreiszner (kreiszner@ppp001.alx.la.xspedius.net) joined #gnuenterprise. does the +woody in http://.....+woody1_i386.deb mean unstable.
