I read the proposal of GNUe General Ledger Package ... and I don't really understand the doc :/ mouns: what were you hoping to learn from the docs ? wt: *kick* :-) Is there others documents ? like schemas ... Action: wt sits back in the corner =) mouns: i'm not sure there are any schemas for accounting yet wt: I don't know ... I begin to create a accounting soft ( GPL ) and I prefer to work in an existing project than to create mine :) wt: ok bonjour mon ami bonjour mouns: hm, #april ? do i know you? lupo__: yes :) lupo__: hum ... no I'm not sure ... I'm not really an "activist" ;) lupo__: but I discuss on #april mouns: i'm an fsfe volunteer oki could have been :-) gni ? :/ I don't understand ... my english is poor and my taylor is rich :) il aurait pu etre que je te connais lupo__: d'accord merci ... thanks for the translation ;) i try my best damn have to go see you ++ what is the priority of the accounting system, for the planning/roadmap, in GNUe ? mouns: i'm not a developer so i cant say exactly ... but the main focus at the moment is on the tools mouns: there are two different tracks er three 1. The Tools (this is primary focus currently) 2. GNUe Small Business (secondary focus) wt: oki 3. GNUe Proper (further down road) The Tools are designer, forms, reports, navigator, etc etc etc i.e. the application framework GNUe Small Business is accounting, inventory, etc that is designed as Keep It Simple Stupid (KISS) that is geared towards immediate solutions for people doing the work non modular and lumped together quickly GNUe Proper is the full blown ERP (SAP type equivalent) that will be highly modular and flexible and thoroughly designed depending on what accounting document read i suspect you read stuff by Louis speaking of, derek, have you had a chance to browse the features pages I put up? comments? trout? which is more of a general accountants view of how things might look rather than an implementation path Vee2d2: yes they looked very nice i only purused briefly, but i liked them then I'll continue working on 'em.. =) lxf (~agus_tea@202.73.120.115) left irc: Read error: 104 (Connection reset by peer) Action: derek has been so busy with real life its sick :( understand.. =) mine's gotten easier in the last couple weeks.. took a part time programming job to bring in some extra cash.. but I'm working at home so it's all good. derek: I understand ... nothing is done for GNUe ? where can I docs for GNUe-sb ? ( I'm reading the ml archive ) http://www.gnu.org/software/gnue-sb/ Vee2d2: thanks ... but I already know this URL, it's here I found the ml archive of GNUe-sb ahh.. =) http://www.gnu.org/software/gnue-sb/features is the expected features I started to write, but it's incomplete and will probably be revised a bit.. what are your needs? Vee2d2: I want to create a accounting processor for larger application ... I begin the project few months ago ... but now, I wish to join a existing project of ERP to create a accounting processor :) Nick change: wt -> wt-afk zoyd (zoyd@dialpool-210-214-66-88.maa.sify.net) joined #gnuenterprise. stuq_ (~stuq@209-63-50-40.br1.mdl.ny.frontiernet.net) joined #gnuenterprise.
