dont know been too busy to pay attention sadly sup my peeps? chillywilly: taint nuttin but bread n'budda over here, you? I be readin about twisted and just observing the channel and such yea, thought I spotted the trebble hook hanging from your bill ;) mommy it hurts! hold this frozen trout in your mouth while I get the pliers heheh jcater (~jcater@cpe-066-061-071-129.midsouth.rr.com) joined #gnuenterprise. el donuto! insomnia? hah or locked out of the bedroom ;) mr. krispy krmeme himself kreme* mr krispy kreme? that reminds me, I found yet another cool donut shot fairly close by.. it's a donut/burger shop.. so that and the donut/pizza place, and donut/sub place w/drive-thru all within fair distance.. s/shot/shop horrible images of bullet ridden donuts everywhere.. terrible typo lol oh the humanity.. ;) well, I had pictures of donuts and irish whiskey shots but to each his own jcater: josh has cvs copyright issues and dir structure done in arias is ok for him to check into cvs? I guess does he have cvs? yeah i think so did he create gnue-sb/arias/ or was that one of us? ? copyright issues? jcater did that, I believe. I created a temporary cvs repository because anon on sf is down so I could sync home and work machines but there's no gnue-sb/arias afaik Action: Vee2d2 hushes changing copyright notices to read FSF ahh and removing non-kosher stuff like m$ fonts :) http://savannah.gnu.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs/gnue-sb/arias/ seems to be gnue-sb/arias looks about 2 weeks old 2 weeks jcater Import into gnue-sb cvs so I can edit well, we can keep that repository if we want fine w/me well im thinking we do an arias dir under gnue-sb until we get things merged into the gnue-sb tree then we can delete that arias directory does that make sense/ fine w/me are you wanting a directory in the cvs checkout of gnue-sb? or a separate cvs checkout? directory within for now is fine (as i consider it temporary) ok temporary == less than 12 months he can create that when he imports his stuff its already there gnue-sb/arias already exists that's a separate checkout ok oh in that case its worth keeping that way i think as that would be my preference but figured it would be too much a pain :) but if its already done I did it because it wasn't really officially part of gnue-sb and I just needed cvs somewhere that is how i think of it so im totally cool with it being separate as the goal is to move things into gnue-sb/ I'm not sure if I'll be working on this anymore, though ? hello jcater been a little frustrated, so I think it's time to take some time off gnue-sb GNU Enterprise ajmitch: heya well, gnue-sb and gnue to an extent, though I'm using it at work so I can't just stop working on it :) jflechtner (~jflechtne@dhcp024-210-188-138.woh.rr.com) joined #gnuenterprise. hello hello hey was up we are ;) yes tis late is cater around? depends who's asking? greetings i spoke to derek about commiting the ARIA code in to gnu-sb he said see you so i see you jcater: i told him to ask you cause i have no clue on how to co or commit to that gnue-sb/arias/ tree figured you would be quicker manual than reading the crappy savannah docs ah do you have a savannah login? I'm only here for 10 minutes if that much i think so let me check ok yes cvs -d :ext:jflechtner@subversions.gnu.org:/cvsroot/gnue-sb co -d gnue-sb-arias arias will check out our arias sub-module into the gnue-sb-arias folder ok Nick change: steveb__ -> steveb im getting a permission denied have i been granted access? good question hang on chillywilly (danielb@CPE-24-167-197-5.wi.rr.com) got netsplit. ajmitch (~ajmitch@wlg1-port30.jetstart.maxnet.co.nz) got netsplit. chillywilly (danielb@CPE-24-167-197-5.wi.rr.com) returned to #gnuenterprise. ajmitch (~ajmitch@wlg1-port30.jetstart.maxnet.co.nz) returned to #gnuenterprise. steveb (~steveb@202-0-63-225.adsl.paradise.net.nz) got netsplit. paq_ (~paq@202.155.9.188) got netsplit. paq_ (~paq@202.155.9.188) returned to #gnuenterprise. steveb (~steveb@202-0-63-225.adsl.paradise.net.nz) returned to #gnuenterprise. hmm well, I don't know why you are part of our group and you are in our cvs /etc/group entry hmmm the ssh key? hmm it's been a long time since I dealt w/the ssh keys I don't remember what kind of errors it gave it accepted my initial key SachaS (~Sacha@dialup-196-11.wasp.net.au) got netsplit. I have a couple datasources and have them bound to 2 seperate blocks.. I have an on-change trigger in the first block setting the value of a field in the second block.. I wanna make it so that that value in the second block gets committed on the condition of "where yetanotherfield=thevalue.in.the.other.blocksfield.with.the.on-change.trigger" ;) is that do'able? you can delete rows in a Pre-Commit trigger, iirc so if the record in the other block is new and you do a test in the Pre-Commit and then delete it it's as if it never existed not sure if that 's what you're after or not well, right now when I save the data.. the second block is getting saved as: insert into table (field) values (value).. hmm actually, I want an update.. ;) update table set field=value where anotherfield=the-value-of-the-field-with-the-trigger-in-the-other-block oh hmm I'm not really working on this now.. just keeps seeping into my thoughts.. I see how to get data using a datasource and createResultSet() or I guess simpleQuery().. is there similar ways to commit changes? you can do a createResultSet then directly modify that resultset using .setField('fieldname','value') oh yea? resultsets support all operations ok not just "select" something more for me to chew on.. :) dsmith (~chatzilla@mail.actron.com) joined #gnuenterprise. psu (psu@public1-wear2-3-cust70.midd.broadband.ntl.com) joined #gnuenterprise. tophe (~tophe@ALyon-210-2-3-173.w217-128.abo.wanadoo.fr) joined #gnuenterprise. tophe (~tophe@ALyon-210-2-3-173.w217-128.abo.wanadoo.fr) left #gnuenterprise.
