Can't help you then. jbailey, maybe you can... help me jump over the encoding :) dcmwai: I probably could, but I'm less likely to take the time to do so. ;P haha I think so. If you were on Debian, I could just install it ehre and test it and make sure we had the same environment. unless there is a big5 map it would be alot more easier isn't :( jbailey, haha never mind. Thank for the offer :) With RedHat, I'd have to go through the work of figuring out how our systems were different. That takes alot longer. the Worst case is that I'll have to delete the whole list and reimport again... np. If you decide to reimport the list onto a Debian box and still have problems, feel free to ping me. =) haha... Nana debian is just too hard for me :) Really? That's odd. What's difficult? Installing Recommend you try the new installer then, when you feel bored. cause you almost have to select all software one by one :) and then download... the woody one? Nope, the sarge one. It does all the hardware autodetection and such, and presents a fairly simply task interface for most things. what is the different? stolen the installation script from Redhat :) and Redhat stolen Apt from debian After that, you still need to select the software one by one, but ``apt-get install sendmail mailman'' is usually enough to pull in everything you need. Redhat's installer confuses new users, and isn't very portable. 2 years ago, they started rewriting the isntaller, and they're in beta now. 2 year? Yup. Not really, actually I think Rh installer is at least better alot then M$ windows :) haha Writing an installer is hard. I do agree.. Keeping in mind again that it supports 11 different processors, like 30 or 40 different languages... when is someone going to write an installer for gnue :) This is what Linux/Gnu for ;) Small tiny but strong... apt-get install gnue-forms. =) that don't work in redhat... haha afk maybe when I'm free I'll try to build a rpm for gnue :) (only when I'm free) ok jbailey, I've to goto sleep now.. see you later... would save more time to set the server up with Debian than fight with redhat eternally stupid encoding problem.. cause me 4~5 hours to solve... Or even a distro that has a descent tree and It take me only 1 seconds to make that mistake... when I'm free :) oh Aria-erp have a wiki page.. anyone care to start it for me :) http://www.aria-erp.org/wiki can we put obscenities there?
