I'll try it myself just verified if i do w/o -Z it bombs w/ -Z it takes a minute to load the form but it works no errors Action: derek has to run to some soccer matches will be back later today tell me what you find and if you need me to test other things the test you've done already are good. I realized, that's important to transfer the server traceback to the client I still don't know how :) other tests would be trying to add your most beloved form to appserver by adding a new module, classes and properties for the tables used in your form. change the datasource to "appserver" and test it important is to add the name for the classes you want to use in the useraccess table classes, properties and procedures can be added with the gnue_classes form. modules with gnue_modules, both in appserver/samples problem is i want your test to work first :) i.e. until i know sample.gfd isnt an issue with appserver i dont want to spin wheels fighting my own form thinking its a me issue when really there is appserver issue :) i will try some when i get back though using the -Z option derek: I just use the -Z option, and send the output to a logfile but I remember that there were much strange errors because of it missing some python drivers don't like that stdio channels point to /dev/null so for me its a minor issue. but I still will try to transfer the stacktrace too, as this will allow to debug it if I can't fix it before we release, I will probably make it a default. But I've to talk we reinhard about it reinhard (~reinhard@M1250P006.adsl.highway.telekom.at) joined #gnuenterprise. hi reinhard hi can you read the log? especially about the -Z option just reading it IMHO we should make it default sorry didn't see your posts because i was not really at the computer and my kids logged me off before i saw it no problem. thierry_ (~thierry@AStrasbourg-251-1-1-7.w82-127.abo.wanadoo.fr) joined #gnuenterprise. hi thierry_ thierry (~thierry@AStrasbourg-251-1-1-7.w82-127.abo.wanadoo.fr) left irc: Connection timed out siesel: i have never used appserver without the -Z option actually so all it will change for me is that i save three keypresses per appserver start :-) read: i would be 100% ok to make it the default hi siesel, reinhard i also agree with derek that we should find out whether it's really necessary to have 3 processes running when running in the background btw i'm quite positive derek's problem is a timeout issue thierry_: its the default way to send a process into the background, why there are three processes still running I don't understand neither anyone have an iptables config for dns? seems there's more ports or maybe some options I need to pass to bind to force it all otu port 53 more ports to open jreynaga (~jreynaga@dsl-200-95-107-249.prod-infinitum.com.mx) joined #gnuenterprise.
