<quiquee> Hi I was trying to get the svn tree installed. I managed to get the appserver running, but I have a problem whith gnue-reports
<quiquee> python -c 'import PySablot ' gives undefined symbol: XML_SetEntityDeclHandler
<quiquee> I have seen I have to use xpat 1.95 , but I am not sure what it really means. I am using debian test
<quiquee> can someone bring some light ? I am stuck here

<quiquee> hi
<quiquee> anyone here ?
<quiquee> I installed debian packages
<quiquee> from gnue.common.apps import errors. \n ImportError: cannot import name errors
<quiquee> this is what I get when trying to run gnue-repports. I have a directory /usr/lib/gnue/python/gnue/common/apps but there is no errors.py there
<reinhard> quiquee: debian packages are grossly outdated
<reinhard> sorry i can't help you with the PySablot problem
* holycow waves to all
<quiquee> Thanks. I tried with the svn tree but I run into problems as well with PySablot
<kilo> A bheil duine ann is urrainn innse dhomh?
<kilo> ah sorry, wrong tab
<reinhard> quiquee: I don't even have PySablot installed and reports works for me
<reinhard> I think you only need PySablot for certain filters
<reinhard> sorry to be of no greater help :(
<quiquee> hmmm that is actually very helpful
<quiquee> which filters do you use ?
<quiquee> I thought all of them used xslt
<reinhard> at least raw, html and csv work for me
<quiquee> that is as much as I want for now
<reinhard> $ python -c "import PySablot"
<reinhard> Traceback (most recent call last):
<reinhard> File "<string>", line 1, in ?
<reinhard> ImportError: No module named PySablot
<reinhard> is what I get
<quiquee> thanks, I will remove my gnue-* from debian and put back the xvn version.
<quiquee> reinhard, are reports usable at this stage ?
<reinhard> several people use reports in production
<reinhard> surely it's not feature-complete
<reinhard> but i'd say useable, yes
<quiquee> ok, cool. Thanks for your help
<reinhard> night all
