<m_adrian> is it possible , inside a gnueforms trigger,  to execute an arbitrary SQL select command and retrieve the values ?

<jcater> if your connection name is "gnue" (in connections.conf)
<jcater> then in a trigger, you should be able to do a
<jcater> results = gnue.sql("select .... from ....")
<jcater> this works for most 2-tier based drivers
<jcater> would not work, of course, against a non-SQL backend like appserver

<m_adrian> it iis indeed very easy to do it.  But it looks like i don't know yet how to figure out myself how to use the functionality the gnuforms offers.
