*** reinhard has joined #gnuenterprise *** johannesV has joined #gnuenterprise *** wt has joined #gnuenterprise *** kilo has joined #gnuenterprise good morning hi good morning all It's 2:00am, do you know where your life is? it's 9:00 am here :) reinhard: germany? good morning wt: austria word good morning from Sweden :) hi rynik good morning *** holycow has quit IRC *** dcmwai has joined #gnuenterprise *** btami has joined #gnuenterprise hello btami hi dimas tested under win win32 with gtk2 looks much more similar then before ok, thx same form with gtk2 driver showed much taller have you got any remaining problems with win32 ui ? *** dcmwai has quit IRC yes, the reason is the different font handling in gtk2 and win32 maybe... :) i need to rebuild win packages again (have not done it with -k yet) maybe we need a new release too, don't we reinhard ? but i'm using it more and more each days aha yes, we will need a new release soon *** johannesV_ has joined #gnuenterprise still got some things to finish before, though :( ok, np is svn up and running ? commit seems to hang ?! *** johannesV has quit IRC ah, looks like reinhard is observing svnserv at ash ... :) no, only tried an svn up, but it hung, too hmm damn anything we can do about ? wait johannes and btami have some processes running i'v just gave it up *** dcmwai has joined #gnuenterprise ok, i've removed mine ... me too... *** wt has quit IRC *** wt has joined #gnuenterprise *** wt has quit IRC *** dcmwai has quit IRC *** docelic has joined #gnuenterprise if i have appserver run in the background how to upload changed classes into it? sometimes it is required to stop appserver for that *** docelic has quit IRC dimas, send a HUP signal to appserver process it will reload it's repository then ... ah, and it depends on wether you've defined a modulepath or not ... it reads all gcd-files from that path ... (i think, but i'd have to double-check) what should i do for modulepath? it's a command-line option as well as a setting in gnue.conf it defaults to the share-directory (see gacvs --help-config) it can contain multiple directories (separated by a colon ";") all gcd-files within that directories are loaded on startup of appserver and on a hup-signal if you have a dir called "my-gcds" given as --module-path (or set as modulepath in gnue.conf) you can start appserver and later add new gcd's or change gcd's in that path, do kill -HUP and it will have all changes loaded into that process ah, and there's a "/var/run/gnue/appserver.pid" file, telling the pid of the appserver process (or you migth want to change that file using --pidfile option) johannesV_: thanks a lot, will look into that and try *** kilo has quit IRC reinhard, is svn still down? or anyone for that matter. AFAICT yes we need to wait for jamest :( And you don't have root access? nope ....OK.... *** wt has joined #gnuenterprise *** jamest has joined #gnuenterprise hey, good morning jamest ! can you please kick svn on ash ? sigh yes great, thanks ! what's it doing? jamest: hang ok yep *** havoc has quit IRC ok, try now yeah, works fine ... thanks jamest np i hope to get that stuff moved to a new server either here or in TN in the mid future mainly waiting on both locations having T1s (and finding a good deal on ebay :) hm, #gnue-commits seems to be not working ... *** titopbs has joined #gnuenterprise *** havoc has joined #gnuenterprise *** havoc has joined #gnuenterprise *** jcater has joined #gnuenterprise *** havoc has quit IRC *** havoc has joined #gnuenterprise *** havoc has quit IRC *** titopbs has quit IRC *** havoc has joined #gnuenterprise hi, whats the sense of this if on g*cvs scripts: if [ "$SCRIPT" != "" ] then %(PYTHONBIN)s ${SCRIPT} "$@" else %(PYTHONBIN)s "$@" fi if it's empty, it will be expanded to empty lol to make people ask questions? I think I did that snippet of code and in retrospect, it is quite redundant :) if you fix it, can you add an 'exec' before %(PYTHONBIN)s ? so killing g*cvs really kills the script how standard is exec? completely standard afaik exec replace current proccess with the one called okay, changed w00t I actually did a commit this year :) there is any reason to not have CIA here? it's in #gnue-commits aha jcater: johannesV_ said gnue-commits is down do you know if gnue-designer at svn builds/runs agains wx26? along with svn i got svn going again but not had time to look at gnue-commits okay *** wendall911 has joined #gnuenterprise jcater: thanks, now i can supervice gacvs :) *** jproby has joined #gnuenterprise *** johannesV_ has quit IRC cu have a nice weekend *** reinhard has quit IRC mnemoc: anon svn working for you now? jamest: yes :) how can i list the forms available on an appserver? *** jproby has quit IRC does anyone have some xsl documentator for gnue classes? xsl documentator ? we have epydoc docs online, like http://www.gnuenterprise.org/tools/common/docs/api/ something do convert class xml files into something nicer to see forall tools *** Amorphous has quit IRC no no... not API, diagrams ah, i see then no i use postgres_autodoc do render .dot and .html files that .dot file i can convert it to .png using graphviz i would like to do somehting similar withouy gnue_* fields :) gcd2xmi could be done using xsl mnemoc: have you wxpython installed on linux to test designer? i'v just committed minor fixes, but tried only on XP i can instgall wxpy26 minute now fighting to produce 2.6 packages to my distro i maintain wx on mine :) what distrib you use? www.t2-project.org i tagged 2.1.0-rc1 yestarday and i hope to get some .iso for pmmx and ppc tomorrow *** kilo has joined #gnuenterprise btami: i'll update and try wxPython 2.6.1.0 mnemoc, Is T2 a distrib or not? :) nope mnemosyne is my distro but mnemosyne is even more unknown than T2 :) i prefer to promote the kit, not my target :) Just kidding :) * jcater liked T3 better man, that was one hot chick :) jcater: yep, VW T2 is quite ugly rynik: jeru promised to get the new site (plone) running tomorrow, so we can change all that confising stuff on the website *** dimas has quit IRC *** dcmwai has joined #gnuenterprise *** titopbs has joined #gnuenterprise *** dcmwai has quit IRC btami: ping btami: http://pastebin.ca/13826, wxpy-2.6.1.0, pygtk 2.6.1 have you svn up-ed, havn't you ? :p ... ok... i'll have to rsync svn ... somehow i get routing troubles from intranet to svn.gnue.org *** sjc has joined #gnuenterprise rsync an svn tree is ugly http://www.gnuenterprise.org/~btami/gnue-designer.png running :) it has lots of bugs, but they are not 2.6 related :( i need a bigger display :( btami: http://pastebin.ca/13828 eh, no bathtub on that pic... :) btami: after deselecting stuff from 'view' they still present what the next release orgy will be done? btami maybe we need a new release too, don't we btami reinhard ? dimas but i'm using it more and more each days btami aha reinhard yes, we will need a new release soon reinhard still got some things to finish before, though :( reinhard is our release masta :) AttributeError: 'IntEditor' object has no attribute 'Clear' .... crash reinhard takes long weekends :( btami: plans for supporting gcd and gld files soon? *** titopbs has quit IRC *** mdean has joined #gnuenterprise mnemoc: you mean in designer? designer is jcater's work duno when he will code again :( :( use vim/emacs/scite/etc. i use vim i don't :) *** dimas has joined #gnuenterprise btami: emacs? oh... index names on gcd changed punch card :) hehe mnemoc: scite * mnemoc googling yuck i'm writing a web based IDE... with highlighting :) i hope to be able to use to do my real work soon why don't you hack on gnue-designer instead ? :) nah i don't like graphical stuff much *** btami has quit IRC jcater, mnemoc: When using gcvs I get a lot of 'gnue-common' in the output.
