<reinhard> however there seems to be even another bug - all dropdowns are reset on error message

<reinhard> whenever a function is called, all pending changes are posted to the db
<reinhard> and the records are requeried after the post
<reinhard> so after the total values are calculated, the blocks are not pending any more, because the have been implicitly posted

<reinhard> however you have to change the saveAll trigger to not query any isPending
<reinhard> just do the commit() unconditionally, it only commits what has to be committed anyway

<jamest> the part of forms that handles the edit/display of field info
<jamest> not really replaced, but format masks will graft in there
<jamest> which is why I started documenting/cleanup
