<reinhard> a form calls a dialog and passes a parameter back and forth
<reinhard> I saw you commented out the lines where GFForm._parameter gets assigned the values from GFInstance
<reinhard> so I wondered how the GFForm should get the parameters at all

<jamest> there was some issue with forms that defined parameters in the gfd but didn't specify them on the command line

<reinhard> as the dictionary is *copied* into the GFForm
<reinhard> changed parameters won't be returned any more
<jamest> what i did had something to do with the caseless dict change as well

<reinhard> at the place where the uncommented part of the code now stands
<reinhard> and it works for my case now
<reinhard> but probably breaks case issues
<jamest> why did we move to caseless?  was it a windows command line issue
<reinhard> there were some issues, but I don't remember what they were
<reinhard> IIRC we discussed whether parameter names should be case sensitive or not
<reinhard> and we decided they should be case insensitive just to play safe with msdos command line
<reinhard> ah oh
<reinhard> the problem initially was that forms didn't honor command line parameters at all
<reinhard> (all IIRC)
