<krizz_> i changed pythons encoding from ansi to utf like you pointed to me, but didn't really help with this

<krizz_> i can type greek, but after changing input box it disapears
<krizz_> (btw in windows with xw it's completely blocked but i don't care much about it)
<dimas_> i thought that kind of problems were resolved a long ago

<dimas_> and i have no experience with utf8 in gnue-forms as I was forced to use another 8-bit encoding for russian
<krizz_> when we were trying to solve the problem, and i was making changes in the mysqldbdrv.py
<krizz_> and we finaly found the solution, I (think) could type correctly
<krizz_> but after the svn commit, i couldn't
<krizz_> maybe i shoud checout the previous revision and make the changes in the file to try it again?
<dimas_> you can look into diff between particular revisions or yes, checkout some previous rev.
<krizz_> the change was made in revision 8202 of the file
<krizz_> can checkout all the files from that revision?

<dimas_> you can try to svn update -r <rev number> from particular dir
<dimas_> but it not i do that frequently so it's more like a guess

<krizz_> it just noticed that when writing with greek the backspace isn't working, alothough the console shows BACKSPACE when i press it

<krizz_> <krizz_> ok siesel , use_encoding to false, connections.conf ( encoding iso8859-7) and db convertted to greek (iso-8859-7)

<krizz_> <krizz_> siesel, after using encoding and use_unicode=false, the input fields, started working perfectly when inserting data in greek, too !!!!
