*** llp has quit IRC *** reinhard has joined #gnuenterprise good morning all good morning *** ra3vat has quit IRC *** johannesV has joined #gnuenterprise hi johannesV good morning if you have time, please test my changes of yesterday with different uis ok something special to look at ? about mouseclicking out from an invalid entry ok is there a prepared gfd ? as there is no way of blocking the foucus change if it was done with a mouse click I tried the idea to just focus back into the invalid entry immediately it seems to work for wx26 and gtk2 you can use any gfd with dropdowns in it just enter something invalid in the dropdown appserver sample.gfd should be ok ok updating svn takes a while here ... :( btw. there was little response on the wx-mailing list regarding the grid problem looks like some guys have implemented a grid-control (derived from wx.grid) which is capable of handling multiple rows per logical record but it appears as the have troubles with selecting a row as well as moving around in a logical way i've installed gnuecash yesterday to get a look at how they did it there ... (looks like is a kde app, isn't it ?) no it's a gtk1 app reinhard, bad news ... clicking out of a field having a min-length constraint ends up in a never-ending loop of error-message "minimum length is 4" ... please don't test min length use gauntlet.gfd to check ... ah, ok I just noticed that min length is checked at a *completely* other point than other constraints (like allowed values, valid date/time etc) yeah, that's not a good solution right now looks to work on wx26, although there are some weird things happening when using the mousclick to change a notebook page .. but i think that is a pb we've already discussed a while ago where the change of the page should be vetoed befored s/befored/before/ I would even think that you can commit a record where an entry is below the min length you just can't tab out of it should your change work on win32 too ? or just on other platforms using wx26 ? on all UIs ok, then here we go: on wx clicking into another entry moves the UI-focus to that entry, but keeps GF-focus in the dropdown. entering new text goes still into the dropdown - the errormessage appears in the statusline on win32 clicking into another entry moves both ui- and gf-focus into the new field, no message, no error. the value of the dropdown is the first one which was available depending on my input gack! e.g. i'm entering Foo into the country-name. after clicking out of it, Falkland Islands is set using wx26 on win works as intended btw. leaving the ctrl with a tab on win32 clears the field completley you test with sample.gfd? yep can you do same test with invalid date instead of invalid dropdown value? ok, let me search for a date-field ... born yeah, could it be that 'Select-all' is no longer workin ? on wx26 i'd say it's working, aside from the wrong input-cursor-position after clicking out of the entry. while the cursor was after the last char before the click it is before the first afterwards *** kilo has joined #gnuenterprise win32: nothing happens at all - like it was with the dropdown; no message, no error good morning wx: same as with dropdowns. ui-cursor is in the new entry. gf-layer still in the born-field (with cursor before start) good morning kilo *** SachaS has joined #gnuenterprise *** btami has joined #gnuenterprise *** SachaS_ has joined #gnuenterprise *** SachaS has quit IRC *** SachaS_ is now known as SachaS *** ra3vat has joined #gnuenterprise *** ra3vat has quit IRC *** kilo has left #gnuenterprise *** btami has quit IRC *** jamest has joined #gnuenterprise *** dyfet has joined #gnuenterprise *** btami has joined #gnuenterprise bbl *** johannesV has quit IRC *** johannesV has joined #gnuenterprise *** klasstek has joined #gnuenterprise *** llp has joined #gnuenterprise *** llp has quit IRC *** derek has joined #gnuenterprise *** SachaS has quit IRC *** klasstek has quit IRC *** lupo__ has joined #gnuenterprise *** lupo__ has quit IRC *** jamest has left #gnuenterprise *** jamest has joined #gnuenterprise *** johannesV has quit IRC *** llp has joined #gnuenterprise *** btami has quit IRC *** dyfet has left #gnuenterprise *** SachaS has joined #gnuenterprise *** jamest has left #gnuenterprise good night all *** reinhard has quit IRC *** kilo has joined #gnuenterprise *** sjc has joined #gnuenterprise *** llp has quit IRC *** llp has joined #gnuenterprise *** jcater has quit IRC *** kilo has quit IRC *** jcater has joined #gnuenterprise *** jcater has quit IRC *** derek has quit IRC *** sjc has quit IRC *** jcater has joined #gnuenterprise *** ajmitch has quit IRC *** chillywilly has quit IRC *** ajmitch has joined #gnuenterprise *** chillywilly has joined #gnuenterprise *** dimas has quit IRC *** dimas has joined #gnuenterprise *** llp has quit IRC
