*** bigbrother_ has joined #gnuenterprise *** bigbrother has quit IRC *** btami has joined #gnuenterprise *** deke has joined #gnuenterprise *** jvetter has joined #gnuenterprise good morning good morning btami, are you using a subversion on win-boxes ? no if you mean svn gnu gnue yeah do you help for testing? s/you/you want i was wondering if i could use the svn on linux as usual, but also access the same repository via samba and tortoise svn the pb is win has no symlinks ah, ok if you want setup-cvs.py i use vmware-player with samba and run setup-py install method on win i see, but that is more than what i want to do i i'd like to juse update/commit to svn via win-box the pb is that i've sometimes just a wlan access via notebook (running xp) so if i connect the linux box to the notebook using samba i thought it might be possible to do gnue-hacking on the linux box, and committing from the xp-bo erm s/xp-bo/xp-box/ i think i'ts doable the only pb is running setup-cvs.py on win hm, yeah, so did i ... but i currently get a network error on accessing svn on svn.gnuenterprise.org btami, right, but i've solved that using the install.bat files (after changing the code-base) and, well, that does the trick quite well i'm not sure wether the network error originates in the old pb with svn, not granting access on the first try, or due to another connectivity problem reagarding tortoise svn why not use command line svn on win too? is that available ? yep url ? *** deke has quit IRC http://subversion.tigris.org/servlets/ProjectDocumentList?folderID=91 * jvetter reading that site i'v used it with putty before ok, so you've used putty for ssh transport ? yep how does that work ? something like SVN_SSH=putty.exe ... there is another .exe khmm can't remember pageant or something hm still reading the docs ... ok, plink is the command-line interface to the putty backends and pageant is an ssh authentication agent for putty, pscp and plink hm, can't get it up well, anyway ... there's still more usefull work to do on forms right now, that hacking a svn-access on xp hm, what would you prefer in a gfd-file: i'd like to introduce 4 new properties for gfd-objects: minimum size and maximum size (both consisting of a width and a height) would you prefer: min_width/min_height, or minwidth/minheight or minWidth/minHeight (note: these attributes are in the namespace GNUe:Layout:Sizer) in GFparser we have minLength (and min_length deprecated) same for max actually i don't speak of GF-attributes (like the one you've mentioned) but of namespace-attributes (like GNUe:Layout:Char:x) i see i'm just not sure which case/writing to use for these attributes just pick one, and other j* will change it if they don't like your choice :9 hm, that's exactly what i want to avoid :) so you don't have any preferences about this then ... i vote for minWidth form if it counts :) ok hmm, anyway ... it looks like controls don't take care of the size-hints on wx.MSW ... which was the latest wx-version you have tried on msw ? (i mean successfully) hm, the dropdown-selection via keyboard still seems to be broken on 2.6.3.3 but the notbook-ctrl supports tabs on the left side now ... :) *** SachaS is now known as SachaMmmm *** SachaMmmm is now known as SachaS *** jvetter has quit IRC *** jvetter has joined #gnuenterprise great, looks like forms has support for the mouse-wheel now ... :) (although i cannot check on osx, since i don't have a mouse with a wheel there) brb *** jvetter has quit IRC *** jcater has joined #gnuenterprise *** jcater has quit IRC *** jcater has joined #gnuenterprise *** jvetter has joined #gnuenterprise jvetter: i'v tested the latest release with 2.6.1.0 on msw, and dropdown handling was ok now svn with 2.6.3.3 is, khm... just notice, the tabbed page changing with mouse click loses focus with wx26 ui btami, that is alread an issue in roundup ah, just forgot it, sorry i've looked at 2.6.3.3 today too, but dropdowns are still broken i think i've already added a bugreport against wxpython maybe we have to try pyqt4 too it's GPL on win now too btami, of course we're adding a qt-driver ... but this is scheduled for fall this year ah, is there a qt-driver for windows ?? i think we can fix most of the issues on wx.msw there is pyqt4 on win, yeah well, maybe i've to make more noise on the mailing lists though :) *** btami has quit IRC *** btami has joined #gnuenterprise *** deke has joined #gnuenterprise *** jvetter has quit IRC *** derek has joined #gnuenterprise *** klasstek has joined #gnuenterprise *** deke has quit IRC *** jamest has joined #gnuenterprise *** btami has quit IRC *** sjc has joined #gnuenterprise *** klasstek has quit IRC *** klasstek has joined #gnuenterprise *** derek has quit IRC *** derek has joined #gnuenterprise *** jamest has quit IRC *** jcater has quit IRC *** klasstek has quit IRC *** sjc has quit IRC *** leonardo_lopes has joined #gnuenterprise *** leonardo_lopes is now known as llp *** leonardo_lopes has joined #gnuenterprise *** llp has quit IRC *** dyfet has joined #gnuenterprise *** dyfet has quit IRC *** derek has quit IRC *** leonardo_lopes has quit IRC *** llp has joined #gnuenterprise *** leonardo_lopes has joined #gnuenterprise *** llp has quit IRC *** deke has joined #gnuenterprise *** leonardo_lopes has quit IRC *** llp has joined #gnuenterprise *** deke has quit IRC *** deke has joined #gnuenterprise *** deke has quit IRC
